Johnson State men's cross country finished 8th in the Franklin Pierce Invitational Saturday afternoon. Brendan Walsh finished first for the Badgers crossing the finish in 23:23.
The Johnson State men's and women's cross country team traveled to Plymouth, Mass. for the teams' second annual running of the Run to the Rock race. Both men's and women's runners competed in the 5k and 10k races.
In its opening race of the season on Saturday, Johnson State men's cross country put Brendan Walsh and Steven Lamonde in the top 25 to capture a 3rd place finish outpacing SUNY Canton and SUNY Potsdam on the campus of SUNY Canton.
